Meet The Team

Eduardo fell in love with CrossFit in 2012.  As a competitive soccer player, soccer was his life and predominant mode of athletic training until suffering a knee injury.  He still continued to play soccer non competitively, and soon discovered a new love - CrossFit. The sport enraptured him with its simplicity, yet complex modalities run at high intensity. This is what he was missing from his days of competitive soccer. Eduardo loves the basics of the sport of CrossFit and embraces the fundamental movements as a way to be successful at the more challenging ones. He believes that everyone, no matter age, gender, limitations or complexity of goals, has the ability to reach what they are searching for through the sport of fitness. He was certified in Peru for Endurance and Conditioning and is CrossFit Level 2 Certified Trainer. The passion that he feels for the sport comes across every day through his programming and intensity on the coaching floor.

Salman was a late bloomer into fitness. In his early 20’s, a friend of his asked him to do a marathon for charity, and after living a mostly sedentary lifestyle, he trained consistently for 3 months and finished his first marathon successfully. After multiple minor injuries from continuous running, he transitioned to competing in triathlons, from the Sprint to Ironman level. CrossFit was originally a source of ‘cross-training,’ but soon he learned that constantly varied movements at high intensity provided the stimulus that allowed him to perform in triathlons at comparable levels, without the hours solitary, arduous training, once thought mandatory for triathlons. Aside from having the cardiovascular and endurance capability to compete in triathlons, with utilizing the CrossFit modality, his strength, mobility, and gymnastics skills have significantly increased. He credits one of the major contributors to these improvements is having coaches and a community. He firmly believes the old adage, ‘As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.’ He is now a coach and the Master’s Division Liaison at Reinvented CrossFit. His main drive is to support athletes at all levels to be the best version of themselves in all aspect their lives.
